Rakim shows and proves that he is still relevant and evolving. The production is not "big budget” but the god emcee makes up for that with strong lyrical content and style. Rather than compromising his legacy by conforming to the industry tropes of glorifying materialism, mysogamy, drugs and thugs, Rakim skillfully touches on these topics from a balanced perspective that’s grounded and relatable. It’s a solid album from top to bottom. My favorite tracks are “Satisfaction Guaranteed” “You and I”, “Put it All to Music”, “Holy Are You”, “Still in Love” and “Euphoria”. Even though Rakim is highly acclaimed, he is still underrated when it comes to commercial success. i suppose that’s because Ra’s art imitates real life instead of the fantasy world that most commercially successful rappers present. if you love pure hip hop, this album will not disappoint.

Due to my Army career I lost track of his discography... Then I saw he had put together this album so I bought it instantly! Given that he is one of the greatest in hip hop I had no other choice!
  • Great Music. Not his best, but something different.

This album takes a completely different approach, as it's more modern hip-hop, but Rakim still perfects it. Lyrics are sensational as expected. Overall great album. Not one song i can't listen to and enjoy.
