I am crazy about this album and spent so much time staring at it in wonder of the musicality of Warwick. No one was singing like her and no one was getting the best material as she was at the time. This album came out around 1970 when she was the best-selling female vocalist in the US and she didn't squander the time spent on the charts. She sang and memorized hundreds and hundreds of songs. And did all of them dutifully and many of them beautifully. Her version of "Yesterday" was appropirated by The Joffrey Ballet company for part of a dance suite. There are about a dozen extra songs here that weren't on the original record. What a bonus!

I find this album exceptional in its diversity. So often we here mention of Miss Warwick"s voice quality, depth, range etc. But I hear a truly trained voice and ear in this album that exemplifies a brilliant hamonizer.
