Reminds me of the background music in the movie Solaris, especially Deep Sleep 2. I enjoy it - not sure if I need it to sleep to, but will listen to it all the same for relaxation purposes. Not creepy, to me, but this is definately in a minor key - LOVE IT!!!

I don't think I ever made it past the 10 min. point on this at bedtime which is really the best compliment you can give it. During the day I'll also listen to this to relax and it definitely keeps me in the zone. It puts the Cats out too pretty fast. Just don't listen to this while driving or you'll wake up in the hospital (if you're lucky).

I bought this one night because I was anxious and having a very hard time sleeping. This made it ten times more difficult to relax! It's very, very creepy, and though I tried twice to just breathe and let it work, I kept expecting something horrible to jump out at me from around the couch. I agree with others who've said that it sounds like something out of a horror movie. And if you are a musician, it will drive you extra crazy. I kept waiting for the chords to change to something other than dissonant, minor chords, but to no avail. There are many other, MUCH more relaxing buys on iTunes!!
  • Not very soothing

If you're looking for more of white noise, then you may like this. However, if you want soothing sounds, I would not recommend this one. It's more creepy and eerie than relaxing. There is nothing scientific about making you go into a deep sleep.

Listen to them in order. I listened to Deep sleep 2 and couldn't get to sleep, when it finished I switched to Deep Sleep 1 and was asleep before it was over. Not what I was expecting, but it helped and I slept for 9 hours! Wow, I am used to 5 or 6!

This sort of album works fine for people who need to close out the world and/or get some sleep. Some of the folks who are concerned about the use of the word "therapy" are frankly wound just a little too tightly. Please. You don't own the word. I call taking a drive along the beach "therapeutic" too. Nobody supposes I have a PhD in the area because of that. And - when I finally stop tossing and turning and fall asleep - this sort of album HAS proven to be good therapy for me. (Sorry - can't help it. Most of us use the word in its profane, every day sense.)

I found the music very dark and disturbing. It honestly did nothing to relax me and help me go to sleep.

It sounds like the background music in a horror film...i dont know what the other people were talking , but it DID NOT put me to sleep.
  • Didn't care too much for it.
