Love Long Time Gone and Finding North ... Amazing song & vocals. I truly hope they get back together. If you can't buy the whole album - at least get these two while there at 99 cents!

I am pleasantly shocked--numb, really. Yes, this is not JUST the Civil Wars, in fact over half the songs are T-Bone Burnett, but my goodness can John and Joy play and sing them some bluegrass! Their instrumental tracks are every bit as good as T-Bone, and he is excellent. I don't know who wrote the songs, but they are played like they come from the heart. I do hope this isn't the studio album The Civil wars was talknig about--only because if it is, it may be last we get. It's a heck of a way to go out, but I just feel like I downed a mouth watering appetizer and am waiting for the main course. Anyway, 5 stars

I adore the music and the musicians, but I don't want to see the documentary because it might ruin the music for me. I LOVE this whole soundtrack!!!!

I am a huge fan of the Civil Wars and while it was different to hear them sing with more than just a guitar, it was just as different to hear their songs without any words….and different is always good in my book. I am a sucker for their melancholy, quiet music so I bought a handful of the more solemn tracks in the following order: Focus, Getting Worse, Finding North, Barbie at the Bodega and Witnesses to Hunger. After listening to all of them straight through, I was hooked. I went back to the iTunes page and purchases the rest of the album. I have never heard of the movie, but the soundtrack has caught my attention and I want more. Time to find the preview online. Take a chance and buy some songs. It is worth $9.99
