I love listening to JDH sing his rowdy songs and then turn around and sing a sweet ballad. His voice is so commanding you just can't help but listen. I love every song on this album!

I am a big fan of the Zac Brown band. I first heard John Hopkins play with Balsam Range in South Carolina prior to a music festival. I have never been a big country music fan so I didn't know exactly what to expect. What a great combination of talented artists. Their new album Daylight has something in it for everyone and is one of my new favorites.

John Hopkins & Balsam Range deliver a fantastic album with "Daylight". Even the guests on the album are top notch (Zac Brown on 'I Will Lay Me Down' to Levi Lowrey on 'How Could I?' ). If I had to choose a favorite song it would be 'Be My Girl'.

This is hands down one of the best examples of musical talent from top to bottom. From John Hopkins deep vocals to the talented Balsam Range's playing this album will tug at all kinds of emotions. It's a roller coaster of genres from bluegrass to gospel and so on you would be crazy not to pickup up this album

Stratum1 said it best "John Hopkins is a beast" The power in this album is tremendous. John's passion truly shines in all he does. Each and every track on this album is a jaw-dropper and I am not easily impressed. I hope ZBB will play a few of these on their next visit to Atlanta. More talent in each of their little, pinky fingers than...

Great songwriting. Balsam Range is a top-drawer band. The very best in Americana is John Hopkins. There you go.

As a group of musicians, these guys are at the top. Although one might expect a solid country offering from the bassist for the Zac Brown Band, Hopkins and the very talented Balsam Range melds bluegrass and rock together with authority and boldness that is rare. The lyrics are fun and smart, and the production is amazing. An all-around five-star release that is sure to turn heads from old and new fans alike.
