Racks is pretty marvelous, I didn't really lose interest in any of these songs. People are understandably intimidated by his ability to constantly release material. Even as discovered him years ago, the prolific element of his catalogue was overwhelming. The Pike Series is an entirely new and abstract way for him to release music. RACKS is one of the best. He shows off a sick variety of range on this one. Telekinite is one of his finest heavy moments, Coffin For A Penny is a delicate masterpiece, The Patrolman just jams out forever. I navigated through this one very well, all of these albums display style of playing on past recordings. This one likes to throw you off, but I noticed all the Pikes do.

The whole Pikes series are just classic examples of Buckethead's prowess!!! The last 4 outings, 7-10, to me, are simply incredible! AND to see him play this music live is a must!!!

Greatest rock/metal/fusion... whatever... musician that has ever graced the power game.

As some of his music is really out there, I have always been into the "real guitar" he does. The songs Sunbursts and The Patrolman really made this album shine in my eyes. This album really brings to mind the reason why I got into Buckethead in the first place. Simply beautiful.
