Honestly, for being a pop/hip-hop musical based on a movie about cheerleaders, this isn’t bad. Most of the songs are a little too catchy to be good, but still has some decent stuff

Saw this show on Broadway in December 2012 and I was absolutely in love with the show and the soundtrack. Favorite track is What I Born To Do!!! I play it for my 8 month old everyday!

I'm not going to lie when I first saw commercials for the musical I thought it would be really corny but for my birthday my mom toke me and my friend, and I loved it! It was very funny and the music was great. Some of the dance moves did tie in with Lin- Manuel Miranda's previous show In the Heights which was nice too. Great show!! 😍

I was very happy to see this soundtrack released. I've been waiting for it after seeing the preview show twice in Atlanta. Having only seen that version, I was sad to see a few songs I liked missing or changed - notably "Girl In The Stands" and "Top Girl" from Eva. Also agreed that I want a "Sparkle Ponies" clip! I can't help but think things pick up a bit when Lin-Manuel Miranda's influence start to shine like in the trifecta of "Do Your Own Thing", "We Ain't No Cheerleaders," and "Friday Night Jackson." Those songs make me dance in my seat a little bit. What's here is good. If you loved the show, get it.
