As a professional clarinetist, I must say, this beautiful album keeps one humble! The Françaix is a work of extreme difficulty, but not only does Cuper play it at the proper tempos (!), he reveals what delightful music this is! A must-hear for every clarinetist, and for anyone interested in the music of Françaix! Great job on the Copland and Nielsen as well!
