I was a KoRn fanatic when I was a kid. I distinctly remember my freshman year in High School when dubstep was getting popular and I liked it at the time. So to see one of my favorite bands do a dubstep/nu metal mix was a dream come true for my 14 year-old self. In retrospect, the album has not aged particularly well. KoRn are the forefathers of a dead genre that is often scoffed at and mocked, so to pick up on a musical trend only ages your music that much more. I will give the band credit for experimenting and going in a new musical direction, but years later, the album feels more like a last ditch effort to stay relevant in the mainstream music consciousness, even more so now that they never did an album like this afterwards.
BEST ALBUM EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even if you don’t really enjoy dubstep, Korn was able to seriously make this work and it is extremely enjoyable to listen to!

How can you mix the best time of music (heavy metal ). And the worst type of music (dubstep). I love KoRn but hate this album
Neat dubstep, but not as great as Nu-Metal

If you like dubstep (or at least don't mind it), then this is a fun album to listen to. Personally, I prefer the nu-metal version of Korn. It sounds more natural and smooth to listen to Jonathan sing to nu-metal rather than dubstep.
The "agressive dubstep" sounds cool at times, but still... whenever I think of a Korn song, I think of "Here to Stay," "Falling Away From Me," "Freak On A Leash," or "Thoughtless." The common thing about all of these songs is that they were phenomenal Nu-Metal songs. I don't think that whenever I think of Korn, I'll think of this album.
Don't get me wrong, this album has some solid songs, particularly "Narcarsistic Cannibal." I like that song a lot! But still... Korn is better with Nu-Metal. You know how it is.
