I wish there was more music like this out there. Jason Boland is what you want hear as you spin around the dance floor with your husband, boyfriend, or just some stranger at the honky-tonk.

Boland and the boys are what should be on the radio, but instead we basically get hip hop.

Boland and the boys have done it again. Another great album. Humbling country music. JBS has stayed with his roots and keeps in pure country. The radio, Nashville and american music awards have become a joke. Boland abd the boys my friends are not!

Jason Boland has written some of the most beautiful songs to come out of the Texas/Oklahoma scene in the last twenty years (see Comal County Blue, Proud Souls) and we can now add "Between 11 and 2" and "Every Moment I'm Gone" to that growing list of soul stirring songs. "Fences" and "Pushing Luck" will be strong contributions to the live set and "Mary Ellen's Greenhouse" is an instant fan favorite. Probably Boland's best album since Pearl Snaps.

One of the best country bands around! Open your ears folks and listen to real country!
