  • The Wombats are The Cure's younger brother

This is my favorite band and this is my favorite album by them. It's drenched in melancholy and somehow is still up lifting. Anti-D makes me want to cry and laugh, like a lot of the songs. I hope you at least try to listen to one song, it's worth it. Think of it as trying a weird food, the worst thing that could happen is you puke.

I don't know how you can't be a fan of The Wombats! Almost every song they have (not just this album) will make you want to dance, however their lyrics aren't the normal, nonsensical lyrics that float around in mainstream music. The Wombats have things to say and most of the time, you can relate!

It usually takes me awhile to get into albums, but this album wasn't the case. These songs immediately catch my attention, and I love them so much. They're a lot different than your average indie songs. Along with great beats, the Wombats further it with great, interesting lyrics. Couldn't love this album anymore❤️

I love all of the wombats's songs because they are catchy but also have messages and are thought provoking. They need to make more music soon !!

A lot of bands have been mixing synthesizers into their music, and The Wombats have been the first that have not crashed and burned while doing it. While the purists may demand real instruments, This Modern Glitch still keeps the band's interesting lyrics and memorable beats. The first album was raw energy and dance, but this follow-up has not disappointed, combining more controlled tracks (Anti-D, 1996) with the familiar fun style (Our Perfect Disease, Tokyo).
