This is just awful... I can't believe this so called artist makes music. His attempt at singing is horrendous. Would not recommend

People that compain about Skinner's "lack of melody" and " production style" should go buy billboards top 100 american rap hits. The Streets isn't is sheep and he isn't making music for the masses. His sytle can only be appreciated by those who trully appreciate english hip-hop and his unique, charismatic sytle.

Doesn't really cut it. His melody is nonexistent, he isn't singing enough. Or rapping for that matter. I bought 6 & 14, but he has way more potential than this. I suspect the producer is at fault.
  • Nothing New

After a couple listens nothing new jumps out at the listener. There's no obvious single, no groundbreaking style of rap/hip-hop as introduced with the original album. Probably the last album because Skinner had nothing new to say.
  • Write of another CLASSIC for Mr. Skinner

If you are a true fan of The Streets or just Mike in general this is a must have album and a perfect ending for The Streets. As much as i love The Streets, this is a great note to go out on.

Full circle, in many ways, Mike Skinner goes back to where he started but is very much aware of the journey he has taken. I just listened to all of the Streets albums and this is a very fitting end. Puzzled by People and Blip on a Screen are him at his most thoughtful mellow best, along the lines of Never went to Church and most of Everything is Borrowed. It'll be interesting to see what he does next......

Cheesy production. Lazy rhymes. The album ends better than it begins.

I have never heard of The Streets before, but this is good. The music is not insanely amazing, but it is worthwhile listening to and the lyrics are fantastic. I respect this band or dude whichever for making some music that is interesting and doesn't sound like all the other crap out there. Definitely recommend this!
