Wow it feels good to finally hear modern rap album with a old school feeling to it. N i'm surprised to find out that david banner is on the collaboration with 9th wonder. This album includes fresh beats along with pretty sharp lyrics with some notable guest appearences. I pray to god that most rappers in the game today wake from this commericialized and autotuned filled nightmare and start making meaningful songs about things other than doin the jerk, getting laid, and clothes and start making real hip hop for real hip hop fans and not for rich 17 year old teens livin in the estates. Click yes if you support real hip hop!!!

Although this seems like a mismatch, this works perfectly as 9th's soulful beats match up well with Banner's lyricism. He has always had lyrics but he is more famous for songs like "Like A Pimp", "Crank It Up" & "Play".

I originally was just going to download just the Be With You song, but I listened to snippets of the other songs and decided to get the whole album. I LOVED IT! I usually don't write reviews, but I thought it was important to put my two cents in on this one. I thought that this was a great cd. I feel bad for cd's like this. When rappers address real issues and don't just talk about women, money, and cars their albums don't do as well. Please get this album and support socially conscience rappers!
