pandora is free in the itunes app store it's where you type in your favorite songs or artists and then it automaticly plays similar songs and depending on if you like it or not you click thumbs up or thumbs down. If you clicked thumbs up it will play more songs like that and if you click thumbs down it won't. Also you can bookmarks songs and if you a click an arrow in the top right hand corner and then go to bookmarks you can click on them and buy them from itunes. The only downside is that you have a limit of songs you can listen to in a certain amount of time, which is OK because you can have like 100 stations.
