A True Artist
Jeselnik will come across like no other comedian today. His influences are transparent in his act and he takes them one step further by developing a character to cater to his style. Brings out comedy even in the darkest of subjects. If you can’t accept to laugh at yourself then he will.
Too slow paced
Maybe my fault for listening to all of Patton Oswalt before Anthony, but I didn't find this comedian funny... At all. Tried too. Listen to half of his cd... Not doing it for me
1 set up, 1 delivery type of jokes. Not my forte
Too much build up for lame delivery. Tries too hard to deliver wow factor.
Comes off more desperate than funny...
Jeslenik's album is pretty good. He's not for everyone as his sense of humor can be pretty dark. It seems some his jokes are just experiments to see how far he can take a particular subject. However, when he hits the mark he's really funny.
Need some medicine?
This has to be one of the best albums I've ever purchased. Maybe the funniest, freshest comic today.
It's not horrible but it's not great.
I like Jeselik's humor. His jokes can really pack a punch and some even have you go "That's messed up" but you laugh anyway. That's my favorite brand of comedy. But the thing that kills it for me the most is his delivery. He... talks... so... slow... and doesn't convey any emotion, what so ever. If you cut out all the moments where he paused for no reason at all, the album would proably be 15 minutes long. Not only that, but him constantly having to tell the audience the joke was funny emediatly kills the joke. Anthony, we get you think you're the smartest person in comedy, but you don't have to keep reminding us after just about every joke. I give it three stars because a few, and I mean a few, of his jokes actually had me laughing out loud, and with a comedy album that's really the over-all goal. If you like Jeselnik, more power to you. I, for one, just can't dig 'em.

This is a stand-up comedy masterpiece!! Anthony Jeselnik is quickly becoming one of my favorite comedians! Right up there with Bill Burr, Ralphie May, Brad Williams and Patrice O'neal (RIP)!! Get this immediately if you like dark, brooding humor!!
Ive seen him once live in Atlanta in 2011. Ive watched most of his television apperences. Jeselnik is monotoned voice and dark humor play off one another very comedically. To me its what makes him so hilarious. Worth every penny. There is always humor is dark places.
O no he did ent!!

I like to listen to this CD while i am eating Angela' s pu••¥
This style of delivery was lost but not forgotten and Anthony does a great job with his spin on it. He is dark and crosses lines, I admit that's not for everyone. But to criticize him for his blatant arrogance or slow delivery is only to prove how well the style is actually working. It's a stage presence - like it or not, he's executing it well.
Very original and just flat out hilarious. His delivery is priceless (half of the jokes don't have punch lines and are still remarkably funny).
