The original LP version of this release was one of my earliest chamber music purchases. I was in college, and had just discovered chamber music. I remember the warmth and sweetness of the music, and the feeling that the musicians' presence was secondary to that of the composer himself. Having little musical education, I am hardly qualified to recommend this recording on its technical merits, but I have the feeling that you will enjoy it as much as I did so many years ago.
