I love her range of voice and song. We got interested in fado music when we visited in Portugal two year ago. I like to let it sinks down to my very soul. Very moving almost like a wave that you allow to over take you. Wonderful!

One of the greatest voices in Europe, long recognized for her work in multiple genres, this album (incorrectly classified as "Brazilian") summarizes 20 years of creativity for this Portuguese singer and composer. Don't miss it. You'll find longing fados ("folk" Portuguese music), World-infuenced pop, and her greatest "hit" (Cancao do mar; "Song of the sea"), made popular by Sarah Brightman under the title "Harem". My favorite, "O Mar e Tu" (The sea and you).
