True to the hype, Jimmy descended on stage with a black cape shrouding his white Fender Telecaster. Once onstage right he did this weeping motion and the crimson satin of his black velvet cape flash as he tore into a thundering loud version of Foxy Lady. As the tune developed, Jimi made all sorts of lured gestures with his tongue while thrilling us with his complete mastering of his instrument. He ended by producing a can of lighter fluid (this was before Bics) and together with well time pelvis thrusts, ejaculated the fuel onto this beautiful fender guitar. He finished by arching a perfectly timed lit match and igniting the axe to a standing Oh. Too bad all my music buds missed it. What a gift he had.

How many great guitarists have we seen since jimi's death, yet none can compare! Awesome in their own ways......but none are HENDRIX!!!

While Hendrix has had so many albums released after his death, you have to be somewhat cautious when selecting one of these albums. Some are of poor audio quality, some even have tracks on them where Hendrix didn't even play on them. That being said, I think this is an excellent collection of hendrix's material. A good selection of studio tracks, but my favorites are the live tracks. Machine gun and hear my train are awesome and anyone unfamiliar with jimi Hendrix work, needs to hear these songs.
