A Worthy Bookend To Into The Groove

I've been a rabid Madonna loyalist since 1984. I appreciate every one of her songs. But Into The Groove has always been my favourite. To me, it is simply dance-pop perfection. In fact, no other Madonna song has ever come close to dethroning it. But after almost 25 years, I finally had a song worthy of the #2 spot. Celebration is a revelatory track.
I should note that there are specific mixes of both songs that I hold in highest regard. The original mix of Into The Groove stands superior to any of the later mixes, all of which seem to be descendants of the sound-effect riddled Shep Pettibone remix from You Can Dance. And the Benny Benassi Remix Edit of Celebration, with its throbbingly propulsive baseline is without a doubt my favourite.

I love Madonna's music most of the time. But I ideally always 💖 her remixes, but these remixes are REALLY bad! I love the song "Celebration" just by itself, so when I saw the remixes EP I thought they where gonna be amazing, but they turned out terrible! You're better than this Madonna!! You can do better! - JMM

I know, it is 2009; however, I have been listening to Madonna nearly as long as Donna Summer. I miss the days of the 12"/extended mix. The Oakenfold mix is listenable/recognizable, but the rest do not resemble the original version, which is one of her best dance songs, to date. I would love to hear a 7-9 minute version of the original song, with highlights of the moog-sounding bass line that drive it and me to ecstasy.

How Madonna ends her career with Warner Bros. with a celebration and to credit her genious this song was already charting around the world without the help of any publicity. Though lets not forget that this day visual is all what makes the song a succes and this time around CELEBRATION will definitely be hit around the World Wow to the queen
