It definitely has a purpose…You’d have to be creative...

Haha you guys sound like IDIOTS right now. You do know Sony is Epic, which is NOT the company who released this? MOTOWN released this. Don't be hatin' on Sony. and yeah, its possible they just released it for the cash-in, but it is ALSO just as possible that they released it in honor of Mike. Don't be such pessimists you guys.

The "stripped" version of "I'll Be There" just might become the definitive version for me. All of the ballads sound really good, but the uptempo songs aren't quite as good in this context. The backing vocals on "ABC" are pretty outstanding, but I miss the production which makes the song jump out of the speakers. It's really cool to hear Michael so raw.

Their voices are so sweet, Michael's Voice is strong and in "Got to be There" you can hear his voice older. Great album.

IF YOU LIKE THE OBSCURE SIXTIES, AND SWEET SOUL SEVENTIES, THEN YOU'LL LIKE DARLING DEAR. I'VE COLLECTED VYNLE FOR OVER THIRTIES YEARS, AND THIS WOULD BE ONE OF THE SIDE TO ADD TO THE OBSCURE LIST. BENNY G. CALIFORNIA

This album is a great source of earliy MJ vocals STRIPPED for Dj's and mixers to continue Michael's legacy thru the art of remix. Appareantly alot of you don't realize that's the purpose of this collection, which why you're so angry... it's not really intended for listening enjoyment, it's for mixing.

I'm a musician/producer. This is remix heaven! There's no way I could have gotten a hold a Michaels's vocal stems from Sony. With the MXP4 format I can take Michael's acepella voice throw it into my DAW and create my own beats and remix to my hearts delight. Very cool!!
