This cd defined my summer of 2006. My friends and I had just graduated from high school and spent the summer listening to this cd and driving all over the place. Thanks for the memories Shinedown! Getting back on topic: Us and Them is Shinedown's most experimental album; the sound is less aggressive than Shinedown's previous work (with the exception of Begin Again)and overall has more of a 'southern rock' sound. Some songs, like Lady So Divine and Beyond the Sun are almost in the realm of prog-rock, while Heroes and Yer Majesty are straight up rockers. Awesome cd and is sure not to disappoint.

Fantastic album, just with more extra songs. If you already have the regular album, I would highly recommend buying "One (clear channel stripped)". Gives me goose bumps every time i listen to it

Shinedown can play any any kind of song good.I had the original album and got the bonusses when this came out. They rock really hard, but are just as great acoustically. The live version of simple man, dedicated to Dimebag Darrel, might be the best one I've ever heard. Great band. Great singer.

The acoustic versions are great. Also the last song Atmosphere(Demo) is the best version.
