I have every Hybrid record so far and love them all, but there isn't one that is as consistent and dark as this one. Some of their later stuff borders on overproduced (like Disappear Here) or is inconsistent, but this record start to finish is the strongest. The dark sci-fi theme plays itself out in so many interesting ways. Plus True to Form is the perfect opener, it builds so slowly and everything feels like it just fits together. If you don't have this get it now!!

I remeber when this came out! Wonderful and still is! Seemed as if they were just starting to understand what they could do! (as in not just remix other people's stuff but make their OWN music!) My faves are: "We are in control," "Blackout" (when it came out my favourite was "Steal you away" BUT I was in highschool. The song seems cliche to me now. :3)

This album I thought at first wasn't all that good. I have listened to Hybrid's more recent album "I Choose Noise" which is amazing, and then I deicided to give this album a chance and I was really surprised. This album is just as great! If you are not sure about it, I would recommend buying the track "Know Your Enemy", its one of my favorites off the album and one of the best on it in my opinoin. Buy it....BUY IT NOW!
