  • One of the best follow up records...

This album is often overlooked, one of the best follow up records by a band from this genre. I was let down by the release of "Whipped". If you are just discovering FP, this is them at their best. Check out the cover of "Youre So Vain" also.

Great sleaze rock record typical of the late 80's L.A. Scene. Think Aerosmith meets GnR or L.A. Guns. This is a band that probably should've been bigger. Many of these tunes could've been hits. Interesting guitar work throughout and Taime Downe's spirited vocals simply ooze attitude. I consider this the best of the band's releases.

After their first album these guys really got serious with their song writing. Unique, well-written riffs in all of these songs. And you can't help but like the up-beat, fast, in-your-face bluesy rock sound. You sure can't ignore it. I keep these songs in my regular playlist.

This and Bang Tango's Psycho Cafe and Dancin' on Coals should be in every "deep cuts" glam collection. This album's singles had it's fair share of play at the time (and subsequent tour opening up for Crue during Dr. Feelgood) but the gems are the songs that weren't released.
  • Great glam-LA metal album- truly a one of a kind moment of brilliance

Now THIS is glam-metal! Clever lyrics, great riffs - a perfect album from front to back. Loved this band ever since they came on the scene!!

Quite by accident i saw these guys in concert. After that i was interested. faster came along sort of at the end of the hair craze but they were better thab a lot of the other bands like them. House of Pain can stand on it's own as can Poison Ivy but there is also some trash. Overall it's not too bad.
