Loosely Christian album

We need to call a spade a spade because songs like "Let Me Be a Man" and "It's Not for Me" hint at a more self sacrificing personality than his wonderful gospel medleys do. "In God's Eyes" stands out as a lost classic; however, the hits ("Paul," "Bible" and the namesake) cannot lead you astray. Who knows where he was going with the weird chord in "December Day," but this album has honky tonk, gospel and hymnody--a little something for everyone.
