Saw this album on the Adult Swim music bump and tried it out. It's a catchy and enjoyable album that will you find yourself putting on repeat fairly quickly. My favorites: Kurt Vonnegut, Foxes Mate for Life, badonkadonkey, and Little Garçon.

Everyone needs a copy of this album. It's one for the indie kids to blast in the summertime with the windows down, it's one to describe every mood of adolescence, it's one to write verbose reviews about on iTunes...
Seriously, this was such a promising record. My personal favorites are "Barnacle Goose", with its overlapping layers of vocals at the end and the mile-a-minute vocals about being an awkward teenager; "Little Garcon" with its sweet simplicity; and "Hummingbird", a rollicking anthem with some of my favorite lyrics on the album. The whole thing is brilliant, though-- get this instead of splitting your time between it and the new release, which is far less satisfying.
