The live version of Two Lights is my favorite song ever. I'm not that into the album version, but the live version is amazing. He hits his notes so perfectly. I think John Ondrasik has the greatest voice ever, and I'm looking forward to buying the rest of the album.

Such a great live!! It was my first time seeing them, but it was really good! He was very intimate with the audience, and he's a great story teller to boot! I loved the opening artist too, wish I could remember her name. The way he played the piano..it was as if he made the instrument a part of him, it was so amazing. He twisted his body every which way, almost fell of the stage once if I remember correctly. lol Either way, this CD is very great! Sounds almost as if I'm back in the House of Blues in Downtown Disney again, witnessing their fantastic live. For those of you that didn't get to attend this one, buy the CD! You'll love it!

Like most FFF fans, I wish Ondrasik would put out some new stuff, but this live album is amazing lisenting! One of the few albums you will ever buy that is timeless and can be listened time and again without ever feeling old...it is that good!

John Ondrasik is Artist Personified. His terrific studio recordings are observations about life, people, experiences and feelings, and they are punctuated with emotion and nuance in live performances. Having seen him in concert, this CD is a tangible reminder of an experience I will remember always. This is a must-have CD.
  • Simply an Original and Phenomenal Performance!

Five for Fighting, in a live performance, is without a doubt a phenomenal artist who has raw talent in his voice; not digitally enhanced voice created in a studio as most performers we know today. John has taken it to a whole new level reaching those high notes and every song has a message whether hidden or obvious. As a listener you must distinguish these messages and their context, and it will reveal true character in an artist such as John and bring you to a whole new personal level. If you are a Five for Fighting fan, as you know most of these songs here are ones we have indeed heard before, instead this time between his piano and band playing live, it will send a chill up your spine, a vibe that will inspire you from within...

I'm not a huge fan of Five for Fighting (though I do like them) and I'm usually not a big fan of live music, unlike most people (although Paul McCartney's Back in the US tour album is very good) because the crowd noise interferes and you don't get the all-around sound beneifts of a recording studio. But this album is sung well, with emotion, and the crowd doesn't interfere. Great job on a live album.
