This is a classic greatest hits from the one and only, Lou Rawls. With the broad and diverse library of hits and covers, do not expect all of Lou's hits to be on one greatest album. However, add this to a couple of other Lou Rawls albums and you essentially have a fine collection. The guy was simply the most distinct voice in music!

There has never been and will never be another artist quite like Lou Rawls. I listened to this gentleman as a kid growing up and he was always smooth, always professional, always a gentleman. Lou was the kind of fellow that made us young guys want to be singers and entertainers when we became adults. I was saddened by Lou's passing a few years ago because I realized then that the world was less one fine gentleman, not like the brash idiot crack-heads you see calling themselves artists nowadays. Every time I hear his music now,it makes me feel sort of sad for the good old days when music had quality, style, and individuality . Now every body sounds like everybody else, and artists love to hate on each other in some bombastic public manner that has all really become very childish and unprofessional in manner. Lou Rawls music is still alive and well and still sounds every bit as good and better as it did then. Thanks Lou for blessing us with your music and talent. God rest your soul.

Man, this is one of my favorite Lou Rawls songs of all times. Thanks iTunes for allowing me to buy music on my own terms and at any time. Miss Lou Rawls more and more everyday. Rest in peace - Brother!
