This music takes me back to my childhood and watching the Harlem Globetrotter play basketball. I remember owning a copy of “Sweet Georgia Brown” and “Poor Butterfly” on a 45 rpm record. Great music then; great music now! Thanks iTunes!

It's so cool that I Tunes has this album available! Some pretty cool old standards done by a great group, Brother Bones and His Shadows. They're not just the group that does The Globetrotters Theme! Give a few of the other tracks a try. It's pretty old fashioned music for a lot of people, but I LOVE OLD FASHIONED THINGS! Some doo wacka doo jazz! Yah, Man!....Groovy!

Just a quick note to those looking for the famous version of "Sweet Georgia Brown" used by the Harlem Globetrotters. This is most definitely the track you're seeking. I was fortunate enough to find this on CD a couple years ago, and thrilled to see it here. As for the rest of the album, a little goes a long way for me, and does seem to get repetitive. Very unique and interesting part of musical history. Probably destined to be forgotten as the decades go by, so enjoy for now.
