The first chord of the adagio from the Moonlight is clipped off!! The performance is adequate (my teacher called Serkin one of the klutziest pianists who ever lived -- had to practice 5-6 hours a day to maintain his technique) but the recording as presented on iTunes is unacceptable. I never would have known it had I not upgraded my ripped CD to the Apple matched tracks through iTunes Match.

Heard these sonatas played by several artists but his performance is perfection. Just wonderful!
