  • She's a freakin' genius

The fact that so many Americans base their entire opinion of this Artist's incredible music on a single viewing of a single dress at a single performance only shows how far our nation's intelligence has plummetted over the past half century. We're an ignorant close-minded mob.

Second most emotionally vulnerable after Vulnicura, Homogenic taking the next spot for this position after Vespertine. I love the micro-beats and how that was a large force, more so on here than any of her other albums. Among the albums I would have people listen to of hers this one would also be highly recommended. After Homogenic, instead of taking a similar route as to that album’s sound, she went calmer, less noisier, and released this album. For me, Aurora is a very light Joga, Undo is the most emotionally vulnerable on this album after Unison, and Its Not Up To You is a relieving declaration of taking back your own life from another hands, such as somebody you gave it to. Heirloom is an atmosphere in and of itself, with atmospheric beats and a sprawling soundscape, with intriguing, phantasmagorical lyrics. 4 Stars

While Bjork has had many interesting songs in her career most of her albums have songs that don't really fit or basically fall short of the hit singles. This album is the exception. It is start to finish amazing and a concept album that can hold its own with some of the best ever made. Not only are the songs great but this is one of her best engineered albums as well. If you want to go on an interesting musical and sonic journey look no further, this is the place.

This is my favorite Bjork album, yes above Post and Homogenic, because she included the rare instrumental Frosti. I must've listened to that song 10 times in a row the first time I heard it, such an enchanting track,

Love this album. However, it's one of those (at least for me) that you have to be in the mood to listen to. It's not something that you just put on your headphones or radio. One has to be feeling it.
