You want this CD! No matter how extensive or eclectic your music collection you don’t have any music as beautiful and wonderful as this. The overall sound of the album is enchanting; the arrangements are skillful and novel but accessible; the performances of the musicians are flawless and Darlene’s voice is beautiful beyond belief - you’ve got to hear it! Don’t be misled by the fact that, as well as original compositions, there are opera and classical pieces on this CD - all of this music is absolutely modern and original in it’s concept and execution. On “Infinite Voice” Darlene is no old fashioned shrieking Valkyrie but more of a modern seductive Siren sweetly singing you to infinite bliss. You may have some of these pieces performed by other artists but trust me - this is new stuff. Drift away with “Sous Le Dome Epais;” check out the dark beauty and incredible range of “Song of my Soul.” It’s all great. I’ve been buying copies for family and friends and they all love it.
