Really awesome stuff in this album! I could fall asleep to track 7 every single night... "And So To Sleep Again."

The tight harmonies, right on pitches of this album allow some people, like me to hear harmonic overtones on a few of these songs!! It is chilling and amazing to hear notes that are not there! Great singing! Blackbird Medley is by far my favorite. This quartet's base is one of the best in Barbershop.

I enjoy all types of music but barbershop in particular I love. I grew up with it, my dad sang in a quartet and in a barbershop choirs. Now I sing. I know Barbershop like few do and Acoustix is some of the best.

Track one is AMAZING! It's vocal gymnatics and the real words to "The Stars & Stripes Forever". Most people are not aware there were words written. The "Blackbird Medley" is just that a trip through the songs in Barbershop, it's cool with a great tag. I can do without the "Good Bless the USA", as it's kinda cheesy. But Jeff Oxley is known for being a little so. He's one of the best basses in the business and probably the ringleader of this quartet, but sometimes his choices are silly. However, it's a patriotic album and overall, it's really fun to listen to.
