I love to hear all the different version's of these piece's, but nothings better than hearing it on a vinyl album... I spin a bit of Peaceful with a hint of sadness on my turntable daily... Most likly, a turntable awaits you at a local resale shop. Give it try, you will be surprised on how much you will enjoy a dead format.

Inexpensive for Messiah, however, you get what you pay for. Vocal solos are bland and not ornamented. Where's Robert Shaw and Atlanta Symphony?

Great value. This is my only recording of the Messiah and it is excellent.
