The fidelity is decent and Kraus sings wonderfully. The song titles led me to believe this recording was in the original french... Not so. If you are a purist and would like to hear Bizets work as written purchase the Alain Vanzo version. Kraus is the superior Nadir but I really wish this album was in French.
