Have you noticed that Grapes of Wrath is missing from this album?
A Classic, But Overlooked

More blues and jazz fusion than heard on later CDB offerings. Besides the obvious, most well known CDB track, there are numerous quality tunes on this album, though none bear resemblance to DWDTG. This album holds up well even 35 years later.
More "Polished" Studio Sound

If you really wish to hear CDB at their best, with Tommy Crain in tow, get the albums PRECEDING this one. Other than the commercially successful DWDTG, all the other songs are…average. Give me "High Lonesome", "Nightrider", and "Saddletramp" by miles over this album.
