Wow. The first time I heard of Donna Summer was many moons ago, when I was just 16! I was getting a ride home with my friends and this guy Gordy told us about this new singer, and how she had a song that lasted for the entire side of the record! That was completely unheard of back then. The really great thing about Donna, was her unbelievable ability to bring together all different kinds of people. I was also amazed, that unlike the majority of great music that was coming out, they would have one hit song, and you never heard from them again. With her, every song was a great hit, and the disco crowd knew it. I've loved her ever since. This album was made in 1999, which was 23 years after that first song on half the record. And then, years later, singing live at the Disco Ball, at around 50, she hit all the notes with that same wonderful clarity and vibrancy which launched her into star dome 30+ years earlier!

The ONLY thing missing from thr album thst was on the concert release was the cover of Yoland Adams "Riding Through The Storm". That song got me through the most difficult time of my life. Even though we know Heaven has a new angel in the choir, she'll be missed here on earth more than I can put in to words. Rest in Peace beutiful lady. And thanks for providing the background music to our lives. Never will you be forgotten.

I really enjoyed the concert on VH1 but the song, Love is a Healer was a big club hit and I do not understand why iTunes is not offering the club versions of this song. It tore the club down!

I Will Go With You(Con Te Partiro) is the best on this album. Listen to it, buy it, you won't be wasting your money!

I think Donna will always be remembered as the VOICE in our music time!

If you love Donna Summer then this is one for your ipod! She did a great job at this concert and I especially enjoyed Dim All of the Lights, On the Radio and No More Tears!

Donna still has it! She is great in concert, and this shows it! These versions are classics, but with a twist. If u love Donna Summer, buy this. If u love Disco, Buy this! U wont be disappointed.
