Shut up you stupid freakin birds!! Haha no seriously this would be really nice and relaxing if it wasn't for the constant chorus of annoying chirping birds and croaking frogs......

This recording is like no thunderstorm you ever heard before. Sounded more like war of the worlds than any storm i've ever been in. Truthfully, it has about a half dozen cracks of thunder played over and over and over for over an hour. Keep looking, this isn't it!

If you love it when it rains you'll love the sound of this album. The birds churping reminds me of those short summer storms underneath a canopy of old trees. It helps with the winter ho hum's.

With all due respect, this work requires a renaming. Something like "Finches and Sparrows Held Captive In A Tile Showerstall" would do. I don't want to be harsh, but gee whiz! Relaxing it is not!
  • Annoying, irritating and mediocre.

Nothing ruins the relaxing sound of rain and thunder for me more then the constant, distracting, annoying, chattering, chirping and high pitched squealing of birds and this offering of nature sounds has plenty of them! Seriously, where did they tape this, in a bird sanctuary? It is in not in any way relaxing because just as you settle in for a wave of soothing sounds you are quickly startled back to reality by the harpy-like screech of some bird!

I've spent alot of time listening to nature sounds-this one is the best! VERY realistic. I am one of those people who have a terrible time falling asleep at night. Not anymore. These sounds are very soothing. Definitely worth a try.

Go beyond the usual white noise repetition of most other recorded thunderstorms. This album records the life of the storm as it rolls in and out and the environment evolves with it. Clear, crisp recording that transported me the moment I heard the thunder in the distance. Most other recordings are simply sounds, this is an event.
