Saw Raye on The Today Show and immediately I was FAN and bought her record!! WOW she’s spitfire talented and for this lady, I thank her!

Definitely went in the right directon with the classical music complimenting her vocals. The album is devoid of annoying (and lazy) computer sounds. It is all very grand and supersonic, and it cruises where it makes sense to. The album has so much variety that it presents itself more like a perfectly curated playlist. I wish I had something more impactful to say here but I'm not some writer. In short, I detest pop yet this is going on week two of back to back replays.

I consider myself lucky to be in a world where Raye is able to write and sing. Maybe 1 in 400,000,000,000,000? This album deserves all of the recognition out there.

“Unapologetically dramatic” and incredibly unforgettable. I’m obsessed with the whole thing. It’s cinematic. It’s inspired. I have had it on repeat for weeks and I still get goosebumps and well up with tears and smile or laugh at a clever lyric or phrase. The only thing that could make it better would be to see it performed live in all its glory.

Rate really knocked it out of the park with this one. It’s a wild ride! Fun, emotive, experimental, listenable, and moving.
