Fine batch of well written and delivered pop songs delivered in the inimitable rock’n’roll Joan Jett way. “This Means War” is the standout cut, “Black Leather” has a killer groove similar to Run DMC’s “King Of Rock” and “Contact” is a fine closing cut. A cover of “Roadrunner” by the Modern Lovers is a nice bonus. Buy this record, listen to it, and love it. Repeat as necessary.

Everything past this record has been subpar. This Means War is the standout track and a Joan classic! I wish joan was still making good records :(

this by far is my favorite album because of the type of rock she's playing. it's not hard, or soft its right in the middle.

Gimme a Break. Joan Jett had more great songs besides I Love Rock and Roll. If you knew anything you would know that this album was released in 1986 4 years after I Love Rock and Roll.
