I remember randomly picking this cassette out at the music store when I was in high school. I only had 10 bucks to spend so I hoped it would be good, and I was not disappointed. It took many years and many more recordings to realize what a gem I had stumbled upon in buying my first jazz album. It will always be one of my very favorites!

Out of the 3 "Standard Time" records I have (1, 2, and 3) this is the standout. The song choices are good, and Wyntons playing is as always, great! The standouts are Caravan, April In Paris, Autumn Leaves and Cherokee
