Universal Ampetheatre, Los Angeles, CA Summer 1984. The '84 Olympics where at their height & so was Julio. He did a ten day sold out stand at the Amp. as we so affectionally called it. Every night backstage healded new celebraties. Everyone who was anyone wanted "back". Just to be in his dressing room A for the post concert swary. It was by far "The" palce to be. The Kingfish & Calhoun hand all the control over the backstae. I was "The Dr" assigned to bar tend the nightly dressing room A festivities. Angie Dickenson was a nightly visitor. Beach Boy's Carl Wilson played the piano. "The Rat Pack" couldn't have held a candel to this party. Not even in Vegas baby.

Whatever Stan Getz did was magic. He could play a beautiful ballad and bring a listener to tears or a Latin song that evoked images of walking that famous beach in Rio de Janiero Brazil. All of his music is in my I-pod library. As always he will remain my number one favorite jazz tenor sax player.

I saw Julio Iglesias in concert in Hawaii years ago, and he sang many of these songs. Every time I listen to this album...without fail...bam! I am back in Hawaii!

I love this album Moonlight lady, Meva Meva , All of you and the air that I breathe are just flawless in my opinion Except the fact that it sounds a little bit dated with the 80s synthy Sound I find enjoyable That sounds embarrassing and simple to people who are younger.. LOL

No one sings a spanish love song like Julio, smooth and hot, he still has the passion!
