Half and half...
For die-hard Ron White fans, this is a must have. Most of his current jokes are highly polished and re-writen to get the perfect amount of audience response, simply through trial and error and constant refinement.
The majority of his current material comes from early material in his bits. This album has most of the classic bits included, but the earlier unpolished versions of them. If you're a fan of the mechanics of comedy, and how bits evolve to get funnier and funnier, this album is a study of how good solid bits start out. You can see the seeds of his currently polished act in here.
If you're not a serious Ron White or a student of the craft, you might want to pass on this one. Familiarity with his current act gives away a lot of the punch lines before he gets to them, the audio quality isn't the best, and his timing is horribly off on some of the jokes.
I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5 for people who really get into comedy, but a 1 out of 5 for people just looking for a funny comedy album.
Great material! I'm a huge Ron White fan but the sound quality is very poor and echos.
Ron White - Tatar Salad
I have all of Ron's stuff & this one is of his best works, I can't think of anyone who can make me laugh by reading from the phone directory!!

This album is before Ron White really developed his niche. It seems a bit forced or rushed somehow. Better off getting another of his albums.
If you've seen or heard the Blue Collar tour, then this will just be a repeat of the same old tired jokes.
I dont know
He sounds drunk, but I dont hate it.
