What memories from college! His voice and phrasing is fantastic for these songs. He gives such emotion to the songs that as you go along they feel like a story being told with passion. I will always consider this album a great introduction to Iglesias who I consider no less of a singer than Frank Sinatra. Sinatra had Conti and Iglesias had a very good orchestra that provides depth and dimension to this lyrics and phrasing. The songs are very romantic and he is able to make you feel the emotions that are expressed in Spanish. Once you hear these songs in Spanish you wonder why you listen to romantic songs in English. There is so little passion and great delivery of lyrics.

This album has some very touching romantic tunes, tunes that will just get to your heart no matter what. I specially suggest 3 songs in here, "Recuerdos de Ypacarai (Ypacarai Lake - very touching Paraguayan melody that describes the bith of a pure love by a blue pristine lake in central South America), "Jurame", and "Historia de Amor" (describes the passion and strength of a real love).
