This is a great album. However, in the digital download (not on the origionally produced CD or casset) Apple has failed to put a space between tracks, making each poem run into each other like one long track. It's fairly unbearable.

I had a cassette of this when I was a kid, I loved it. I just bought it for my daughter since she loves the books. She says she likes it as well.

Shel Silverstein gives me nightmares! A better scare than slender or Dead Space!

My brother, sister and I grew up listening to these on cassette tapes in the car while driving around with my mom. They were so much fun and so entertaining! Even as a grown-up, I still love listening to them! Many have great messages for kids as well. Highly recommend this one! It's a "classic" in our family!

I had all of his books when I was a kid! No one should be without his imamginative and quirky poems and stories. The Giving Tree (different book) makes me tear up to this day...
