  • Digital booklet?

I saw that the limited edition, very expensive physical version of this release contains a nice booklet. Why couldn’t the iTunes version include a digital copy of the booklet?
  • Some Gems Finally Make The Jump To Digital

We finally gets official digital releases of Spies like us, Write Away, Back On My Feet! This set finally fills in a lot of gaps in Paul’s digital discography. granted I would love to see other things on the set such as Hangglide for starters. We also get some nice remixes of b sides on singles during the 1986 Press To Play album. If you are a long time fan these alone are worth the price of admission. Some of the omissions keep this from a full 5 star rating. Still a solid release. This will help me to add to some of my playlists. Now if Paul would just bring on the following archive sets: Give My Regards To Broad Street, Press To Play, Off The Ground, London Town, and Back To The Egg.

Why the 2 mono tracks? Because we want to hear it. No new music? Take a closer look. There are some great gems here that have been overlooked for a long time. People need to appreciate things a bit more.

  • A set for collectors

Why buy this set? Because it’s jam-packed with rare B-sides and mixes which are hard to find digitally. I counted at least fifteen or twenty tracks which aren’t in my Macca collection, which I’ll be picking up individually. This isn’t meant to be a Greatest Hits set; it’s for long-time Paul fans. Thank you, Sir Paul, for making these songs available digitally!

Really. Why would he include a remastered version of UAAH in MONO?

There's no bigger Macca fan on earth than me, but even I don't get the point of this release. There isn't a note of new music here. In the digital age, what's the point of re-releasing material already available? Who's going to buy this?
