Musically, the innovative remix on the (Maurice's Nu Soul Mix) is bubbling over with talent. Sadly, only honest musicians can really notice the difference. Using the original melodic line against a new chord progression is what entertaining music is all about. Slowing down the lyrics to easy audability (while exposing beyonce's sensual vocal detail) over a fast house beat is next to genius. Lastly, any real listener (musician or not) cant or should not miss the hotness of the rhythm guitar in the background. The original and the Maurice Mix alone make the album worth buying. I applaud the effort.
