I haven’t the time nor the energy to rewrite the entirety of my previous detailed review so I’ll keep this one short and sweet. Typically Jeremy’s songs suffer from bad structure, as in his songs often and prematurely more often than not. This album seems to come closer to the mark of hitting the mark of standard structure: verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus. Which is great however, the quality of some of the songs is – or seems to be- lower in this album. Some definitely feel rushed and unrefined/raw. Yet some feel overrefined, namely “dont come over”. There are definitely a handful of songs I really like, the handful of songs that are alright, and another handful of songs that I gave second chances and still did not find any enjoyment or connection out of them. 3/5 album.
