I was watching PBS, All creatures great and Small and then Around the world in 80 days, I was drawing instead of watching the Wild Card Football that I planned on watching and then Austin City limits came on, it was St. Vincent so the game could wait. I continued to draw and this young gal came on and I stopped drawing, looked up, watched, was swept away, bought this album and said thank you.

Stumbled upon hearing this artist on my local news channel in Tampa Bay Area “CBS Saturday Morning” segment, only a few minutes before end of program time. Loved the song ‘If You Got A Problem’.

The words, the voice, the message...powerful,beautiful,heartbreaking. This is just an incredible collection of great music!

Wonderful to see iTunes finally feature Black artists that are soulful, talented and a write beautiful catchy music. Usually they feature rappers screaming about crime, drugs, sex and killing. Like the world needs more of that?! Really great music!

The SIMS game had a concert your SIMS could attend & Joy was one of the singers that sang her song in Simlish. I liked the song and wanted to know more about the artist & found several song I like on the album. Weirdest place I’ve found music yet but I’m glad I did!

I was vaguely familiar with Joy’s song, “Sunday”, and decided to take a chance and purchase the full album. I am so grateful that Apple decided to feature more than the typical mainstream albums for this week’s new releases. I may have missed this otherwise. There is not a single filler track on this album. Absolutely beautiful music.
