it's a wholeeeeeeeeee different vibe, i'm here for it tbh, i heal through this album. i seriously don't want to spend all my time being upset about losing my youth.

The sound and mellow attitude is very SolarPunk. I like it! Very beachy
  • nothing like the first two albums (meaning most won't like it)

I'm a huge Lorde fan, but there isn't one song that I like on this album. I've sampled all of them a few times now and there just aren't any standouts. The mood and edge are all gone from this album - hopefully she brings them back on her 4th album. This one is a dud.

this is an extremely well put together album that deserves nothing but praise. the people saying otherwise are just upset because they wanted a melodrama 2.0, which this is not. just because its a new direction doesnt mean its a bad album.

She didn’t write this album to have a Mega Hits feel. She wrote it from the bottom of her heart exploring her world - nature. Falling Fruit is especially poignant. Oceanic Feel is great to relax at the end of the day… The Path is definite influenced by the early 2000s which means it’s catchy but you have to look past the surface to the lyrics.

At first I thought this was seriously lacking in production all around. However when it came to be around my midterms and I was stressing out over school work this album resonated with me in a unique way. It calmed me and made me more productive. The album has a relaxing and chill vibe that you shouldn’t disregard it sets out to do something that most artists don’t do and that’s to sit back and unplug from everything. It’s a fresh breath of air and one that I’ll keep breathing in.
