GQ had a song titled ‘Swag Like A Ball Player’ on his 2011 release, “Trouble Man.” I hearken back to that song title here, as it most aptly describes the way Q maneuvers throughout his most recent EP. He raps over the soulful productions present here with both an undeniable ferocity and an unshakable confidence that is typically reserved for the most elite hardwood maestros.
At just shy of 23 minutes, it’ll leave you clamoring for more...at which point you can just run the whole thing back and enjoy it just as much as you did on the first listen!
Everything here is top notch, but if I HAD to choose favorites, it would be “Might As Well,” “Big Lutha,” and “Just For You.”
